The Walled Garden benefits from regular donations from the FoBP for plants that contribute to the serene beauty of this oasis. The Garden has won gold on several occasions. Help us by making a donation for more planting in this lovely space.
Award winning space
Originally used as a kitchen garden to provide food for the estate, the walled garden is now a lovely place for quiet relaxation amongst sculpted hedges, pergolas and a wide range of flowering plants. Friends of Brockwell Park volunteers help Lambeth gardeners care for and improve the garden using a regular annual donation from FOBP.
We choose new plants to fill gaps and make structural improvements, prioritising year round interest, climate change resistance and pollinator value for different plants. The garden is judged every year for a London in Bloom award and since 2019 it has gained a GOLD which always thrills us.
