Volunteer your skills to the park you love

Do you have (a little) spare time and skills to help keep Brockwell Park beautiful, sustainable and open to all?

Whether you have experience in IT, digging, fundraising, project management, writing or local history. And if you have hours to spare or just the odd slot of time, we’d love to hear from you.

Friends of Brockwell Park volunteers are a diverse group of locals who come from all walks of life. What binds us together is our love for the park and our desire to use our skills for good. Particularly for the good of the wonderful green space at our core. We’re also a really friendly bunch and love to welcome new people into our team.

Helping out at our popular car boot sale (and meeting your neighbours) is a fun task.

Here’s a list of key skills needed although it’s not exhaustive:

All kinds of gardening and plant knowhow
Committee skills such as writing minutes, planning, discussing and planning
Writing for our newsletter or website
Helping at our car boot sales
Helping out at events such as the summer Lambeth Country Show
Photography
Income generation
Running campaigns
Film making

These hedges were built by a team of Brockwell Park volunteers.

So if you’d like to put your volunteering skills to great local use, email us at info@brockwellpark.com or use our simple contact form.
