July car boot sale
With summer in the air, it's the July Friends of Brockwell Park fundraising healthordisease.com car boot sale. Come along, meet the neighbours and buy some stuff (9am to 1pm, Lido car park, Sunday 9 July). We are open to the public from 9am. There's a refreshment stall and free parking in Dulwich Road. Sellers arrive from 7am, first come first served (no advance bookings): £12 per car; £15 per van.

Beginners’ Brockwell Bird Walk
New to bird watching and fancy getting up early on a Sunday? Most definitely come along to the Beginners' Brockwell Bird Walk. It's all happening on Sunday 12 November. Come to the Herne Hill Gate at 9.30am and meet Czech, Graeme and Pat who will be your guides to the Bird Kingdom.They are all members of RSPB's Central London Local Group. We'll be finishing at the cafe on top of the hill. Please bring binoculars if you have them. The walk will take up to 90 minutes, so good shoes are in order too.
Peckham Society AGM
The Peckham Society is holding its AGM on Monday 24th April 2017 at 3pm in the Goose Green Centre, St.John’s Church, Goose Green, East Dulwich Road, London SE22.It will be followed at 3:30pm by a talk: Sydenham Hill Woods - the mammals and birds to be given by Daniel Greenwood of the London Wildlife Trust.
Sydenham Hill Woods are a remnant of the forested ridge which dominated the area between Croydon and Lewisham of London from antiquity. Daniel has a wealth of knowledge to share on the wildlife and birds rarely found in a large city.

The Peckham Society tells us about a meeting on Sunday 19th February 2017 at 3pm - The Dora Project presented by

A visual presentation commemorating all those who perished in the Holacaust. It will discuss the move of the "vengence weapons" (V1 & V2) project from Peenamunde to Naudhausen where they were created in the most inhumane conditions.
