Mushroom walk and discover
Take an autumnal walk and discover the different varieties of mushrooms in Brockwell Park. Meet at the clock tower for an hour of fungi fun! The walk will be led by Fabrice Boltho who is the Community Gardener at Myatt's Fields.
FoBP Spring Walk
Brockwell Park and the Grim Reaper is the topic of the Friends of Brockwell Park annual spring history walk. Meet at the dead centre of the park, the Clock Tower, at 2pm. It's a free event (although donations are accepted with thanks) and everyone is welcome.
Dawn Chorus Bird Walk
Please join us for a partner event with the RSPB's local group. Meet 6am (yes, you read that right!) for a special walk around the park's birds, led by local RSPB experts Czech Conroy and Graeme Hutchinson. Meet at the Herne Hill Gate entrance to Brockwell Park. The gate will be opened temporarily for this event although please note that the other park gates will still be locked until around 6.30am. Please bring binoculars with you, if you have them.
Beginners’ Brockwell Bird Walk
New to bird watching and fancy getting up early on a Sunday? Most definitely come along to the Beginners' Brockwell Bird Walk. It's all happening on Sunday 12 November. Come to the Herne Hill Gate at 9.30am and meet Czech, Graeme and Pat who will be your guides to the Bird Kingdom.They are all members of RSPB's Central London Local Group. We'll be finishing at the cafe on top of the hill. Please bring binoculars if you have them. The walk will take up to 90 minutes, so good shoes are in order too.
