Together with Brockwell Park Community Partners (BPCP) and The Conservation Volunteers (TCV), we are laying the boundary hedge around the park to thicken the hedge and provide an improved habitat for biodiversity.
The great hedge that was planted 15 or so years ago has grown and needs cutting down to size: a process called 'laying'. If you would like to help with this vital task, there are volunteer days between December 2022 and March 2023.
We volunteer between 10.00 and 16.00, but come when you're able.
Wear warm, rainproof clothing and good boots/wellingtons, There will be tea and lunch breaks.
